CELINE DARTAR

Celine Dartar is a Chelsea College of Art and Royal College of Art trained textile artist based in California. She has completed her Phd at Dokuz Eylul University,Izmir,Turkey. She  is a woven and printed textiles specialist with international experience in design, product development and education. Her background is diverse in textile design encompassing multiple disciplines including weaving, dyeing and screen printing.

Her textile design studio specializes in handcrafted, innovative fabrics and materials for apparel and interior. She has been working with a wide variety of materials to explore new potentials towards innovative textile techniques and designs. She is exploring the boundaries of traditional textiles by utilizing innovative materials.

​Celine is currently teaching  at Design department at Uc Davis. She is also taking on commission work as well as working on personal projects.
